Something slightly different today, as I’m feeling…. well, slightly different, so it’s back to Langkawi, and more specifically the bird park, where you may remember (if you’ve been visiting the blog previously) we met Alfred a while ago. So today, being national duck awareness day in the Cayman Islands, where Jiblet (pictured above) is originally from, I thought it would be fitting to share this image with you.
This shot was taken on the weekend by the Westminster bridge, while waiting for the sunset. I was walking up and down the river looking for a spot to set up when I came across this chained up gate. I liked the tree framed inside the entrance and towering over the top.
It wasn’t the best sunset, but I was able to get a few other shots that I was quite happy with.
I thought I’d start of the week with a shot taken a few weeks ago from Waterloo bridge, after meeting up with Mike on what I remember as being a particularly cold day. I never really get into the swing of things, and never even bothered to look through the photos until last week. I don’t think I got much else from that day, but was quite happy with the way this came out after processing.
I was reminded while processing that Mike pointed out the carriages are all empty for some reason. Hope you all had a good weekend.
This shot was taken a while ago while on a walk with Mike and John at the Greenwich foot tunnel. I had been wanting to do this spot for a while and as there was a firework show in that area that evening, we decided to start off by walking through the tunnel, luckily the flow of people walking through was not so heavy, and we had a few chances to shoot with no-one in the frame.
